Zong to Set up a Customer Service Center at Wagah Border to Facilitate Visitors from India

Zong, Pakistan’s first and only Super 3G and 4G LTE telecom network and a part of China Mobile Pakistan, has agreed to set up a mini customer service center (CSC) at PTDC motel, Wagah border, Lahore. The CSC is being set up to provide Indian visitors with Zong’s network connection upon their arrival into Pakistan.

Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Zhao Peng, CCO, Zong said, “At Zong, we have always strived to provide the best service to our customers. To showcase this technical prowess and to provide a better experience to Indian visitor’s from across the border, we decided to set up a CSC at the main point of entry into the country. Being a company looking to evolve basic telecom services in Pakistan, we have always looked to create a synergy with the local masses and this initiative showcases our solidarity with the consumer. The idea is to welcome and facilitate visitors from across the border with state of the art, telecom service provision”

These special Zong Sims will offer Indian visitors excellent network coverage throughout their stay in Pakistan and add value to their trip by providing them with seamless connectivity and high speed internet connection. 

Samsung Launches Windows based Omnia M smartphone; A Review

 

 Samsung has varieties of smart phones including Samsung Galaxy, Galaxy Ace Duos, Galaxy S III  and more; most of them have been running on Android operating system but this time Samsung expanded their portfolio with the release of exciting Omnia M S7530 running on Windows phone OS. So, let’s see what’s inside.

Appearance and Operating System

First off, Samsung Omnia M has a slim and smart look. Its Multi touch capacitive touch screen through a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels gives stunning display. It runs on windows 7.5 operating system but skips several features of other models of Windows 7 family.

Screen and Processor

It has 4.0’’AMOLED screen with exceptional tile based Metro user interface of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Samsung Omnia M has equipped with 1GHZ processor and the 384 MB RAM provides good navigation experience on Windows mobile phone with 4GB internal storage.

Connectivity and Multitasking

It’s the first Smartphone to feature exclusive Samsung’s cross-platform chatting service ChatOn accessing to rich messaging, content sharing, group chats and much more. While it also features a cloud-based network, The Family story app, for cross-device sharing of messages, pictures, videos and slide to keep up stats for tech lovers.

 It has bunch of connectivity options including BT 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot and 3G.It has equipped with Xbox live apps integration for the gamers to purchase exclusive games from the Windows app store as well as sending and receiving messaged with Xbox friends.

The Camera

 By far, the device has 5MP camera with LED flash and VGA video recording and it has also equipped with 0.3 MP front camera. Its LED flash with 5MP gives the professional-grade results.

The Verdict

This mid-range model of window phone 7 is currently available in few parts of Europe and India but we can expect it to be released in remaining markets within next few weeks and the price set for this smart phone is 270 Euros. In our opinion, the price for this device is more than the job done.
